Umdloti BUSH TAVERN and Grill

The Umdloti Bush Tavern and Grill is the oldest and most successful restaurant and pub in Umdloti. It serves the only draught beer in the village (Pironi, Castle and Hansa).

The Bush Tavern has a very pleasant African theme plus a beautiful whale and dolphin viewing terrace which makes it a must visit on any trip to Umdloti.

The Bush Tavern offers an a la carte menu plus pub grub and take-aways, along with DSTV (satellite) sport, live music and happy hours.

The Bush Tavern is situated in the Umdloti Centre, above the Total Garage next to the turning circle.

Excellent “pub grub” an “a la carte” menu and take-aways are available from The Bush Tavern - all very good value too and served with quality Wilkinson Sword cutlery (not the take-aways, hopefully!)

The famous Umdloti Bush Tavern chicken “flattie” is a must to try. The hake and chips is also popular and the vegetarian pizza is quite stunning. The peri peri chicken livers and the creamy garlic mussels make mouth watering starters or light meals. Umdloti Bush Tavern Combos like rump steak and prawns satisfy the heartiest of appetites and there are daily chef’s specials including fresh line-fish (catch of the day) when available.

Try their "Out of Africa" chardonay and "Tribal" shiraz merlot to complete your meal!

The Bush Tavern happy hours are Monday to Friday 6pm to 7pm, Saturday 12 till 1pm, Sunday 11am to 1pm
